Schafkopf is a German trick-taking card game using a playing card pack without lower number cards. Each player bids the game type they want to play. In the base game type, Obers (Queens), Unters (Jacks) and Hearts are permanent trumps, the declarer nominates a secret partner by calling a non-trump Ace, then the declarer side must take more points to win the hand.
