Hello there,
I got the same issue today. Had 3 "streets" and system counted only 1. If I would guess it is because during gameplay the routes change and won't get corrected.

Ok thank you both, it appear that the system is wrong when the path are really close and could be misscount by counting room twice but, you're both right, each time there is a way to count more points by choosing better your path. I will try to improve that

Hi firgon, thank you for the info about the light blue numbers showing the paths. I didn't notice this little detail.

Besides that good job on that implementation of this game. I was eager to play it!

On my final turn it counted -10 points for the epidemiologist of sequence 1-6. In all I should have three but only counted 2, it actually deleted the third one.

I had 3 lines of 1-6, but only 2 were counted. No numbers used twice.

Possibly what happened is this:
Sequence scored using the following numbers;
W1, pos 1 (1)
W2, pos 1 (2)
W3, pos 1 (3)
W4, pos 1 (4)
W5, pos 2 (5)
W6, pos 2 (6)

Later i added the more numbers so that the original sequence could start with the same first 4 numbers, but ended with the last 2 numbers going in a different direction
W3, pos 2 (5)
W3, pos 3 (6)

And a new sequence started with 4 different numbers, but ended with the original last 2 numbers
W3, pos 4 (1)
W3, pos 5 (2)
W4, pos 4 (3)
W4, pos 3 (4)
W5, pos 2 (5)
W6, pos 2 (6)

Maybe it is not allowing a re-routing once numbers are used.

Same problem with epidemiologist bonus not being credited. Playing on Edge, windows 11. Apparently, from previous comments, bug has been confirmed.

Same issue. I have two paths but only one is scoring.

I rerouted my first sequence and that may be why the second one did not score, even though it should.

This happened to me again. Last play of the game, my move completed 6 in a row. But because the computer is always slow at recording bonus points, it declared my opponent as the winner. But if the computer had recorded my 10 bonus points, it would have shown me as the actual winner.

Happened on table 515364265 and move 45.

I don't know if development has been abandoned on this one but since the dev most recently asked for examples, here's this game's sequence: imgur.com/a/ViJzzGi

After move 45 there were two groups of 1–6 for 20 points. My opponent put a final piece down (a red 5 in the 5th ward) and the game decided to switch to the less optimal one group for 10 points.

I understand the algorithm is not optimal but maybe give players a chance to confirm or select a better route?

Table 518302848: didn't count ANY of the points for me or my opponent. I noticed from early on but thought it would get corrected by the end. Didn't effect the result this time. This epidemiologist card should be removed unless this problem is resolved. I will propose abandoning games in the meantime.

I also came to this same problem on table #516483660
I have two paths that didn't get scored at the end. The weird thing is that initially the first one was showing up on the scoring. It disappeared when I got my second row on move 65

Hi everyone. There are two different bugs.
- From beginning, in some case, the 1to6 epidemiology can be buggy. It's not solved.
- Bga is migrating from PHP 7.4 to PHP 8. It seems that migration broke epidemiologist count. I don't know why and I have to make a full check up to understand. but i have not enough time for that now. i just reverted to 7.4 so new games won't be buggy. but it's too late for on going games. Sorry for the inconvenience.

@firgon Might just be coincidence but this is 3/3 games started since you reverted back, all have this epidemiologist goal.

Ok i found one error. Related to the php 8.0 adaptation, so i hope it will be enough to unstuck you all.

It WON'T fix the 'historical' bug about sometimes misscounting when there are several path between 1 and 6.

But it should allow you to have "normal" games with normal epidemiologist count.
