Not a bug. Basically it means your word is not common enough. The default "Multisource" dictionary comes from the 12dicts project (read more at wordlist.aspell.net/12dicts-readme/ -- specifically the 2of12inf list). It is oriented towards common words that the author found defined across multiple dictionaries.

You can select a different dictionary option before you start the game. FYI, gravlax and gravlaxes are included in both Scrabble dictionaries.

I tried to use "Tweeze" "Tweezer" "Wizen" "Wizens" which are all valid words in dictionaries. All of them were blocked by the game. I can't believe the "Tweezer" is an uncommon word. I'm using Google Chrome.

Which sub list of 12 dics does it use ?
Easter got refused even though it is in International/3of6all.txt from the 12dicts v6.0.2

But not in 3of6game.txt which apparently removes all words starting with a capital letter (which is a bit harsh as words like February are excluded)

Correct, proper nouns like Christmas, Paris, Hitler, February are excluded (as is typical in almost all word games), even though these words would appear in most English dictionaries.

The specific word lists are 2of12inf + 3of6game

Thusly wasn't accepted in one of my games, even though it is in all dictionaries. Person who submitted it was on android firefox.

Frankly if the 12dic list is so restricted that it doesn't have words which are common to merriam webster, Cambridge, etc then it is not a sufficient list.

12dicts was built mainly from advanced-level learners dictionaries and aims to gather the most common vocabulary. I'm not surprised that THUSLY isn't among the most popular words and don't think it's any mistake. THUSLY doesn't appear in the Collins Cobuild learner dictionary or Merriam-Webster learner dictionary (learnersdictionary.com/), for example. That doesn't mean it's not a word, just that it's uncommon. At some 80k words, 12dicts is not meant to contain every obscure word under the sun. You can take this to mean THUSLY isn't in the top 80k.
