Something else sometimes happens simultaneously: the "dots" that represent current progress don't get reflected until the second movement up a column. E.g., it would take 2 rolls of 7 to see a black token appear. Not sure how/why it doesn't reproduce itself for you when I experience it with every play :- /

If the hotseat player wins, the messages continue even after no game choices are available to be taken.
Not sure if this contributes to the problem or not, but the hotseat player is listed as being French (while I am not.) boardgamearena.com/7/cantstop?table=103932331

I get a 2 second repeating "You are connected again" message in the general messages window, or the game window I'm in. Definitely now all the time, maybe beta games seems to trigger more often, but it can start right up after logging in. Stopped while I was in Bug Reporting.

Happens for me too whenever I am playing hot seat. Using Safari version 14.0.3 (16610.4.3.1.7).

Only hotseat games have this issue.. Refresh with F5 does't fix it, it still keeps happening.
Floods the log making it impossible to review the history of the game updates.
I know this is an old report but this happens to me as well on normal mode and not hot seat.
I get the "server timeout" and "you are connected again" every two seconds or so in all of my games but some games, particularly Lewis & Clark and Quetzel are very bad. At one point, I couldn't play one of my Lewis & Clark games because when I say "Done and end turn" I get the message and my turn starts from the beginning as if I haven't taken my turn at all. Very frustrating.
I use Firefox (the latest version, I don't know what it is) and I have updated it to see if it fixes the problem. It doesn't.
F5 did not solve the problem, nor did closing and opening my BGA.
It makes hotseat mode kind of useless.
Any game with hotseat players.
Happens with hotseat players only (no repeated notifications on host player turn)

2 years after the first error coming up here and not yet solved - seems like a difficult bug,
if I can help to debug some coding, please let me know.
If this is something that the devs cannot recreate, could this be because it's related to the name assigned during Hot Seat? e.g. does it maybe only affect Hot Seats that are using a name that appears somewhere else on the site? Our preferred hotseat names are "them" and "dudeonacouch"
