I tried to Colonize a star using one free Gain star action from the special effect of the Progenitors. Before I did that I still had 2 left. That action was blocked by another player though, so I couldn't do it. The program counted the unsuccessful Colonization attempt though and reduced number of actions by 1 (which is kind of correct), but did not give me the option to execute that action somewhere else.

According to the rules, page 23:
"The action is only lost if the player has no other star at which they can, and want to, do the action."

Suggestion: Convert the blocked Colonize Gain Star action into a Gain Star icon with the word "COLONIZE" on it (similar to the Gain Star action that can only be used in Center sector) putting it in the row of available growth actions for the player. In this way the player can execute that action somewhere else, if possible.
