Furthermore, the final score is unclear. With 28 Harmony and 22 Agony, our net difference is +6. Our final score however was shown as +12. -

To me I guess the bigger question is why did the Game Results say our score was 12 instead of 6?
About taersx's question:
The final score is multiplied by the difficulty modifier (Easy: x1, Normal: x2, Hard: x3).
This rewards harder games more by boosting rating increase.
