I enabled the game option „Auto-confirm“. It works fine during trick taking, but does not work when all players have to discard 1 card at the begin of a new round:

When I click on a card to select it for discarding, a 5 sec timer starts. But when the countdown reaches 0 sec, the selected card does NOT get discarded automatically. I had to click the „Confirm 0 sec“ button to continue.
