Same thing happened to us.
Mme_Carrousel played the Young Forest Spirit and played Scorch for free, but was unable to use the Young Forest Spirit's ability a second time.
You used Dragon Egg to summon Scorch and wanted to copy Forest Spirit, discarding Marina to score 7 points. The game ended up not copying forest spirit and passing with Scorch in play. Forest spirit was a legal card to copy and Scorch shouldn't be able to "pass".
Dragon Egg is coded to be unable to undo unfortunately. Otherwise you could have just summoned Marina with Dragon Egg for 7 points, same score.
